Change Someone’s World

The Muslim Community Events Bolton team will be hosting one of the largest events in the UK on the 29th and 30th May at the Macron Stadium in Bolton. After the overarching success of last years event where over 15,000 people attended from across the country and over £30,000 was raised for charity, the team have organised a 2-day event this year and increased the size of the event by 50%. The blockbuster event will have a mini theme park, F1 simulator, live performances, BBQ, freshly cooked clay oven pizza, cakes & exotic foods, face painting, fast cars, pony rides, a grand auction and over 100 stalls. The event is expected to attract over 30,000 people across the two days and help the team reach their £60,000 target.
Muslim Community Events are a 100% voluntary, not-for-profit organisation who organise the best in-class community events with the aim of uniting and inspiring communities locally and nationally. All the money raised will go towards their nationwide campaign, ‘Changing Someone’s World’, a campaign to raise awareness about hunger across the world and fundraise £250,000 from cities across the UK to help tackle hunger in the UK and internationally. The charity partner for this year’s campaign is Muslim Hands, a UK registered charity (Charity Reg No. 1105056) based in Nottingham who will deliver the aid to the hungry people in different countries including the UK.

Tariq Razzaq, CEO and Founder of the organisation and Campaign Director for Changing Someone’s World Campaign said: “The campaign was inspired by the saying that you may not be able to change the whole world but you can change someone’s world. Hunger is a problem we can solve and this campaign aims to take the first steps towards ending hunger. The event at the Macron Stadium is our flagship event of the campaign and I would like to invite everyone from the different communities to come down to the
Macron Stadium on the 29th and 30th May. The event last year was amazing and this year will be even better!”
