Women in Neighbourhoods (WiN) are delighted to announce that MBDA Missile Systems has come aboard as a Gold Sponsor for the 2017 Inspirational Women Awards at the University of Bolton on 12th May.

As part of MBDA’s Corporate and Social Responsibility and Community Engagement policies, Community Giving is a way of being associated with environmental, cultural, educational, humanitarian/welfare and other non-profit making activities. Whenever possible they act to help local charities and good causes. Among the examples of MBDA’s support of Community Engagement: in the UK, MBDA embarked on a Volunteering Initiative, giving employees two additional days leave to support worthy, non-profit making local community organisations; in France, five Indian students received scholarships from MBDA and the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation and MBDA Italy (both the Company and individual employees) donated over 1,200 kilos of non-perishable packaged foods, baby food, biscuits, milk, sugar, etc. between the Rome and La Spezia sites to local worthy causes.
The company works to ensure an inclusive and diverse culture in all of its workplaces. Diversity is a key focus with initiatives in place to ensure that MBDA is an equal opportunities employer which offers equal prospects and opportunities to potential employees without regard their age, background, gender or sexual orientation.
