Remembrance Service at Bolton Town Hall

By Jack Sharratt

LifeBridge ASEND Bolton attended the service in Victoria Square, in front of the town hall, to remember those who fought and died in wars. Everybody who attended the service had 2 minutes silence to think about the loved ones we have lost.

Many people came along and the emergency services turned up to pay their respects. In the service they fired a cannon and it made a huge bang. Everybody jumped because of the loud noise it made.

The silence started at 11.00 and finished at 11.02.

The weather was overcast and cold.
