The fourth Volunteer Bolton event will be taking place on Thursday 5th June between 11am and 3.30pm on Victoria Square. This is a Volunteer recruitment event which links to the national Volunteers Week. It is positively supported by Bolton Council who are providing the market stands. Bolton FM will be present at the event helping to provide a feel good factor and publicising every organisation’s volunteering opportunities. This will be the 30th year for UK Volunteers Week and so we hope to build on this for the event. Here is some feedback about last year’s event:- ‘Excellent event, good networking and an opportunity to promote and publicise and to talk to and recruit new volunteers’ ‘It was a brilliant day with high footfall, enough organisations to make a buzz but not too busy’. Last year we received Lottery funding to support this event but this year the event needs to be self financing and so we need to ask stall holders for a small charge of £20 per organisation. If you would like a stand at this event, please complete the attached registration form and complete the tick boxes about payment. Please return your form by Thursday 15th May so that we can ensure that your organisation is included in the publicity leading up to the event.
